MOZART ON A SUMMER’S EVE 2017

RE: Connoisseur Concerts presents Mozart On A Summer’s Eve with two outdoor concerts, Magical Musical Evenings – An Evening In Tuscany, Tuesday, July 18 and Wednesday, July 19, 2017 in Manito Park on the lawn East of Duncan Gardens

SPOKANE - Connoisseur Concerts will present Magical Musical Evenings – An Evening In Tuscany, for its 27th annual Mozart On A Summer’s Eve, with two concerts in July on Tuesday, July 18 at 7pm with a repeat performance on Wednesday, July 19 at 7pm on the lawn East of Duncan Gardens in Manito Park just off Tekoa Street.  Tekoa Street is on the East side of Manito Park and runs parallel to Grand Boulevard.  (Maps Address – 2124 S. The first half of the program presents Northwest Bach Festival Artistic Director and 2017 Triple Grammy Winner cellist Zuill Bailey with guest artists Paul Rosenthal, violin; Scott Rawls, viola; performing with him and three members of the Spokane String Quartet, Amanda Howard Phillips, violin; Jeannette Wee-Yang, viola; Helen Byrne, cello in the Tchaikovsky Souvenir de Florence.

The second part of the program features Mozart On A Summer’s Eve Music Director Verne Windham directing Connoisseur Concerts Wind Ensemble with special guest artist, the Metropolitan Opera Soprano Danielle Talamantes performing Italian arias in this program called An Evening In Tuscany.

Reserved tickets to the concerts are at table seating at white linen-covered round tables that seat eight. The ticket price for table seating includes a gourmet dessert and coffee provided by Fery’s Catering.  Some tables are designated Prime Seating Tables and are only available as full tables of eight at $320, $40 each person, and are on limited availability basis through Connoisseur Concerts at 509-326-4942. Tables designated Reserved Seating Tables are available either as full tables for eight ($240) or as individual $30 tickets.  Ticket holders are invited to arrive as early as 5:30 pm to picnic or have a potluck at their reserved table. Dinners may also be ordered directly from Fery’s, 509.458.5234, for delivery to the park at 5:30 pm. This service is available for reserved table seating only.

LAWN SEATING TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE

Tickets for lawn seating for those who bring their own blankets or chairs are $15 per person and are for the concert only with no food or beverage service. There are no chair height restrictions in the open lawn. This area is also open at 5:30pm for picnics.

Reserved tables and performers will be under a tent, and the concerts will take place in Manito Park regardless of weather conditions. If needed, lawn seating patrons will provide their own rain gear and umbrellas. For additional information, contact Connoisseur Concerts.
